Bersano Barbaresco 1970 is a fully mature Nebbiolo red wine from the Barbaresco of Piedmont, northern Italy. Established in 1907, the Bersano winery is located in Nizza Monferrato (in the heart of the Barbera d’Asti area) and is a renowned producer of classically-styled Barbera, Nebbiolo and Brachetto. Although overshadowed by the spectacular 1971 vintage, 1970 was a generally excellent vintage in Piedmont, producing full-bodied and ripe-flavoured Nebbiolo wines with good ageing potential.
