Domaine Tempier Bandol Lulu & Lucien 2021 is a full-bodied, single-vineyard red wine from the Provence region of south-west France. Domaine Tempier is a historic estate that has been in the Peyraud family since the marriage of Lucien Peyraud and Lucie Tempier in 1936. The family played a significant role in establishing the Bandol appellation in 1941. Named after this pioneering couple, Lulu & Lucien is the domaine`s top cuvée and in the relatively fresh 2021 is a blend of 75% Mourvèdre, 14% Grenache, 9% Cinsault and 2% Carignan. Expect layered, ripe, spiced dark berry fruit, garrigue, iron, cedar and pepper. A wine to enjoy with a long decant now, or to cellar for up to 20 years.
