Founded in 1974, Avignonesi is a leading biodynamic winery in the Montepulciano area of Tuscany. Desiderio is a Merlot-based red wine with 15% of Cabernet Sauvignon. Intense, deep red in colour revealing notes of red cherries and raspberries, rose petals, herbs, lifted by hints of menthol, liquorice and chocolate-dipped coffee beans. The palate is smooth and fruit-driven, with chewy tannins and a deliciously savoury finish.
