Leflaive et Associés Auxey-Duresses Blanc 2022 is a medium-bodied Burgundy white wine from the commune of Auxey-Duresses in the Côte de Beaune. Leflaive & Associés is a side project from Domaine Leflaive, using grapes sourced from third-party biodynamic vineyards in the Côte de Beaune. The wines are made by the Domaine’s winemaking team and aged in the same barrels, but the only difference is that it’s not their estate-grown fruit. This elegant Burgundy Chardonnay from the very promising 2022 vintage was matured for 12 Months in oak barrels and spent a further six months in stainless steel tanks before bottling. Expect distinctive notes of white fruits, citrus, gentle florals and a touch of toastiness.
