The Georgian Askaneli winery was founded in 1998 by the Chkhaidze brothers. The name “Askaneli” is associated with the small, magical village of Askana, where the old cellar, built by the family`s ancestor, Antimoz Chkhaidze, still stands. Made from 100% Saperavi, this full-bodied Georgian red offers up a harmonious nose of black plum, blackberry with black pepper and oak nuances. The perfect match for grilled meats and juicy steaks.
