Ardnahoe 5 Year Old Inaugural Release is an age-statement, limited-edition single malt whisky produced at the Ardnahoe Distillery on the isle of Islay. This exciting release from Islay`s newest distillery was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-oloroso Sherry casks for five years before being bottled at a cask strength of 50%. Expect notes of shortbread, baked apples and peat smoke on the nose, followed by custard, ginger, lemon zest and baked apples on the palate, leading to a long, smoky finish.
