Dark ruby red in colour, Ampio 2016 is displays spicy notes of black pepper and liquorice, complemented by small dark berries. There are subtle scents of aromatic herbs, lavender and delicate undertones of tobacco, mint and cacao. On the palate it is a seductive and elegant wine, with mouth-filling texture. The persistent and polished finish has hints of dark chocolate and blueberries. An excellent wine to pair with grilled filet mignon & caramelized onions.
