Ca La Bionda Amarone Ravazzol is produced from vines aged between 30 and 70 years old on the steep terraces of the Ravazzol cru vineyard in Marano. Marano is one of the most elevated areas of Valpolicella which helps to promote freshness in the wines. 2016 was vintage of notably high quality in the Veneto, producing particularly concentrated Amarones. However winemaker Alessandro Castellani has produced a nuanced, terroir-driven wine, rather than focusing on pure power.
