Amarone Classico Vigneto Alto TB Bussola 2007 is crafted by Tommaso Bussola, a family-owned estate in Veneto, Italy, established in the 1980s. This wine is made primarily from native varieties such as Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella. The 2007 vintage exhibits notes of dried fruit, dark cherries, and herbal undertones, with a subtle earthiness from the volcanic soil.
- Bussola's 2007 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico TB is much more overt than the straight Amarone. Plum, cherry and mocha notes are alive in the glass, but the style is riper and more oxidative. I prefer the straight bottling here.
