Meteora` is sourced from four distinct sections within the `Jardín de Hormigas` vineyard. Crafted from 100% Malbec, the wine undergoes vinification in concrete tanks, incorporating 15% whole clusters, and then matures in concrete for 12 months. Originally envisioned to present a more straightforward style of Malbec from this vineyard, the end result is quite the contrary, delivering a distinctive and rather complex expression. The wine showcases a clear ruby red hue and opens with initial notes of gunpowder and graphite on the nose. On the palate, it maintains tension with textured, well-balanced tannins. Flavours of cherry, violet, chamomile, and herbaceous undertones lead to a prolonged and concentrated finish.
