Alipús was set up in 1999 as another project of the Grupo Los Danzantes, which is based in Ciudad de México. This particular mezcal is distilled in small clay pots, which is typical of the region of Sola de Vega, Oaxaca. There are three different mezcaleros who make this expression and this release is from Tio Felix. Expect notes of citrus fruit, oak, green vegetal, clay and bitter dark chocolate.
