Martín Códax was formed in 1986 as a co-operative with approximately 50 grape growers based in Galicia. Today it is the largest producer in the region, with 450 hectares of vineyard planted with Albariño, representing 13% of the total Rías Baixas DO. Vindel is a very special Albariño expression, made with grapes from the low-yielding plot Agro de Tremoedo. A beautifully complex wine, with refined notes of stone fruit, ripe apple, quince, spices and lactic hints.
