Ailsa Bay

Ailsa Bay is a relatively new Scottish whisky distillery, located on the southern coast of Ayrshire. It was built in 2007 and is owned by William Grant & Sons, the company behind Glenfiddich and The Balvenie. Ailsa Bay is unique in that it uses advanced technology in its production process, to ensure consistency and quality.

The distillery producers a variety of whisky styles, aimed at giving William Grant & Sons options for blending. The four styles are broadly categorised as estery, fruity, nutty and heavily peated. Despite being a relatively new distillery, Ailsa Bay has already received several accolades for its whiskies, including a gold medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
