Another excellent "grain to glass" gin from Adnams, who are more famous for their superb ales. First Rate gin is distilled from three locally-grown grains. barley, wheat and oats. A beer is brewed before being double distilled before finally being re-distlled in a copper pot still with thirteen botanicals. Full-bodied and bold, this would make a fantastic Martini.
