Aberfeldy

Aberfeldy is located in the town of Aberfeldy, Perthshire. The distillery was founded in 1898 by the Dewar family, who were prominent figures in the whisky industry at the time. It is located on the outskirts of the town, near the River Tay, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and hills.

The team operate two wash and two spirits stills, using water sourced from the nearby Pitilie Burn, which runs through the grounds of the distillery. Capacity is around three and a half million litres a year, much of which is used for the Dewars blended whisky. Aberfeldy is a classic Highland whisky - medium-bodied and has a slightly sweet taste, with notes of heather, honey, and vanilla.
