A vintage single cask whisky from Islay, released independently by Berry Bros. & Rudd., offering concentrated aromas of peat fires, ash and iodine. This is complemented by a subtly spicy character from the ex-Moscatel cask, imparting notes of gingerbread, apricot and sultana bread. The palate is equally intense. peat smoke, leather and seaweed, all wrapped up by a layer of fruity cask which adds a luxurious mouthfeel. The thick texture adds length to the finish, revealing dried fruit and ash.
