This particular whiskey is a single barrel, cask strength rye whiskey, which means that it is bottled at the same proof at which it was aged, without any dilution. The Settlers Select Rye is part of Wilderness Trail`s premium range, showcasing the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of the distillery. Like the Family Reserve Rye, the Settlers Select Rye features a high percentage of rye in its mash bill, around 56%, combined with corn and malted barley. It is aged in new charred oak barrels, which contribute to its robust and complex flavour profile. Enjoy it neat or with a few drops of water to reduce the intensity of the alcohol.
