Vosne Romanee Duvault Blochet DRC 2009

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti – often abbreviated as DRC – is one of the most prestigious and highly regarded wine estates in Burgundy. Located in the village of Vosne-Romanée, DRC is known for producing some of the finest and most sought-after wines in the world, primarily from Pinot Noir. The estate encompasses several Grand Cru vineyards, including the eponymous Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg, and Romanée-St-Vivant. Cuvée Duvault-Blochet is a lesser-known wine in the DRC portfolio, produced with fruit from the young vines from across all of the Domaine’s holdings in Vosne-Romanée. While the 2009 vintage might be enjoyable now, it should continue to develop and improve with age for several more years.
