This is a wonderful 150-case cuvée from the superb Uruguayan winery, Viña Progreso. It is made from 100% Tannat and is fermented in open-top barrels with wild yeasts before 6 months maturation in barrel. It is a dense and inky wine, offering up immensely concentrated black fruits with subtly spicy and smoky notes. This would be absolutely perfect for a chargrilled rib eye steak.
