Since 2008, Peter Veyder-Malberg has been making huge waves with his highly complex and terroir-driven micro-cuvées of Riesling and Grüner Veltliner from old vines in the Wachau. The 2016 Hochrain vineyard Riesling is amazingly pure, ripe and intense. It is full-bodied, plush and supremely refined with wonderful richness of fruit, varietal spiciness and mineral tension.
