This release from Quinta do Crasto is a red wine made entirely from Touriga Franca, one of the key varieties used in the production of both still wines and Port. The grape is known for its floral and fruit-driven characteristics, along with its ability to bring structure and balance to blends. The 2017 vintage evokes aromas of ripe red and black fruits, such as blackberries and plums, complemented by notes of violets, spice, and hints of oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with velvety tannins, well-balanced acidity, and a long, persistent finish.
