For three generations the Maculan family has been selecting and vinifying the best grapes in Breganze, an enchanting village at the foot of the Asiago high plains in the Veneto region of north-eastern Italy. Breganze Torcolato is a ‘passito’ style sweet white wine made entirely from the local grape variety, Vespaiolo. Brilliant gold in colour, this intensely aromatic wine pairs perfectly with local delicacies such as “fregolata” cakes and cheeses such as Asiago Stravecchio.
