Thorne and Daughters Snakes and Ladders 2022 is a full-bodied white wine produced from Sauvignon Blanc grapes in the Citrusdal region of South Africa. Snakes and Ladders is produced from hardy Sauvignon Blanc bush vines planted at high elevation in the mountains above Citrusdal. Hot, dry conditions in this site dictates that the vines struggle in search of water, creating intensely flavoured grapes. Producer note. "Crushed blackcurrant leaf, opulent exotic fruit and smoky mineral notes form an intensely complex nose. The palate is rich and structured with green mango, sourdough, earth and ripe fig cut by saline acidity."
