This is a rare bottle of 8-year-old Talisker, estimated to be dated from the 1970s. It was around the same time that the maltings at the distillery closed, so it began to import barley from its nearest maltings, Glen Ord, 100 miles away. Presented in a green box to match the glass, this is an example of Talisker from an iconic era.
