Taittinger’s flagship blanc de blancs was first produced in 1952 and it’s only made in the best years. The 2008 vintage is a fresh, mineral and focused champagne, pleasantly scented with notes of white flowers, fresh citrus fruits, white peaches and yeasty dough. On the palate the wine has a delicate creamy mouth-feel and shows racy acidity, crystalline purity and steeliness. Flavours of lemon, lime and orchards, with sprinkles of white pepper lead to a long chalky finish.
