Sybille Kuntz Riesling Spatlese Trocken Magnum 2011

HED31135 150cl 13.5%
Weingut Sybille Kuntz is a 45-acre estate situated around the grand cru site of Niederberg-Helden in the Lieser district of the Mosel Valley. The estate has been practising organic viticulture since 1990 and has been Demeter certified biodynamic since 2016.

Since the 2011 vintage, Kuntz has colour-coded her labels according to ripeness level and taste profile. The Spätlese Trocken label is yellow to symbolise when the berries are fully ripe and yellow in colour. This is a later-harvested yet dry (6.8g/L residual sugar) style of Riesling made using old-vine fruit from the steeply sloping Niederberg-Helden vineyard. With a good amount of bottle age, this should now be perfect for drinking.
