The Sine Qua Non Ode to E Grenache 2004 is a blend composed of 88% Grenache, 10% Syrah, and 2% Viognier. As with some of their other wines, the small percentage of Viognier is co-fermented with the red grapes to enhance the wine`s complexity and aromatic profile. On the nose, expect red and black fruits, such as raspberries, black cherries and blackberries, along with hints of white pepper, garrigue and lavender. On the palate, this Grenache is full-bodied, rich, and concentrated, displaying a velvety texture, vibrant acidity and well-integrated tannins.
