Simi Winery has a long history, dating back to 1876, and has consistently produced quality wines throughout the years. It is located in Healdsburg, within the Alexander Valley appellation, which is known for producing excellent Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The terroir in this region consists of well-drained, gravelly soils that contribute to the production of rich, full-bodied wines with ripe fruit flavours and well-structured tannins. This is 50-year-old release is now a fully mature wine, showing subdued fruit flavours and notes of leather, truffle and dried herbs.
