Señorío de San Vicente Rioja 1994 is a mature Rioja red wine from San Vicente de la Sonsierra in Rioja, Spain. This single-vineyard wine was made from a single plot of Tempranillo Peludo and matured for 20 months in American oak. The year 1994 was seen by many to be the first great vintage of `modern-style` Rioja - and this wine is a pre-eminent example. "Generous, round and polished, with ripe plum and dried fig flavours, balanced by licoricey, cigar box, spice and mineral notes that echo on the long finish. The well-integrated tannins are still firm, promising a long road ahead." Wine Spectator, 2019
