Sami-Odi Little Wine #12 is a multi-vintage red wine produced from biodynamically farmed grapes in the Barossa Valley of Australia. Sami-Odi is the project of Kiwi-born winemaker Fraser McKinley, who produces small batches of powerful, concentrated Shiraz from very old vines in the northern Barossa Valley. Fraser worked for Torbreck Vintners before setting out on his own. Little Wine #12 is an assemblage of casks from 2022 (49%), 2021 (23%), 2020 (11%), 2019 (8%), 2018 (1%), 2017 (4%), 2016 (2%) and 2015 (2%). Fruit is sourced from six small plots within the Hoffmann’s Dallwitz vineyard from vines planted in 1996, 1995, 1994, 1960, 1927 and the oldest vines planted before 1912.
