Costanti Rosso di Montalcino 2022 is a medium-to-full-bodied red wine produced from Sangiovese grapes in the Montalcino sub-region of Tuscany. Winemaker-proprietor Andrea Costanti combines a respect for traditional methods in the vineyard and cellar with a meticulously quality-orientated approach to create Sangiovese wines that are truly reflective of the Montalcino terroir. The estate`s Rosso di Montalcino is produces from fruit in lower-lying vineyards and sandier soils at the base of the hill of Montosoli. Matured for one year in tonneau casks, this is a velvety, gourmand red wine with spiced, sweet-savoury red cherry fruit complemented by hints of dried flowers and liquorice, and given structure by a firm core of stony minerality.
