Rocca di Frassinello is the result of a partnership between Castellare di Castellina and the renowned French producer Domaines Barons de Rothschild-Lafite. The idea emerged from the aspiration to combine Castellare`s proficiency in cultivating Sangiovese grapes with Lafite`s extensive expertise in classical French varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. The wine presents aromas such as red berries, plums, liquorice, and warm spices. Exhibiting a medium-bodied character, it offers a velvety texture on the palate and concludes with a generous finish.
