Domaine de la Romanée-Conti – or simply DRC – is the iconic Burgundy estate that produces some of the most exclusive and sought-after wines in the world. The domaine has a fascinating heritage that goes all the way back to the 16th century, when it was farmed by the Benedictine monks of Saint-Vivant de Vergy. Only grand cru wines are produced here, including this Richebourg, made from a 3.51-hectare parcel. The 2016 vintage reveals an enticing nose of rose petals, strawberries, wildflowers and cacao nibs. On the palate, this is a full-bodied wine, boasting velvety tannins and a persistent finish.
