First founded by monks in the 14th century, the Remelluri winery was purchased by Jaime Rodríguez in 1967 and has been run by his son and daughter, Telmo and Amaia Rodríguez since 2010. This the estate`s flagship red, produced from a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha. Expect a wonderfully pronounced Rioja nose, with red and black fruit character, vanilla and liquorice complexity. A harmonious wine, with beautiful balance between flavour concentration and alcohol levels, together with fine-grained tannins.
