Covering some 46 hectares, the Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt estate incorporates some of the finest vineyards in the Mosel, Saar and Ruwer. This Grosses Gewächs classified wine is produced from the weathered Devonian slate soils of the Josephshöfer monopole vineyard and is matured in a one-year-old 2,000-litre double fuder. It is a site renowned for producing full-bodied, spicy Rieslings that are often hallmarked by notes of orange blossom and tangerine zest, with hints of wild herbs and earth.
