Having worked in the revered wineries of Dominus and Rudd Estate, David Ramey established his own label in 1996 and is widely regarded as a master of Cabernet and Chardonnay due to his use of traditional, artisan winemaking techniques. The 2003 vintage marked the final release of this Bordeaux blend from the Diamond Mountain District. Composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot, it is deep and full-bodied with sumptuous layers of crème de cassis, mulberry, Christmas cake spices and cedar. This is absolutely perfect for drinking now.
