Ragtime Rye is a rye whiskey produced by the New York Distilling Company, which is located in Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 2011 by Tom Potter and Allen Katz, the distillery focuses on producing high-quality craft spirits, with an emphasis on gin and rye whiskey. Ragtime Rye is made from a mash bill containing 72% rye, 16% corn, and 12% malted barley. The grains used in the whiskey are primarily sourced from New York State farms, showcasing the region`s agricultural offerings. The whiskey is aged for a minimum of three years in new charred oak barrels, which imparts rich and robust flavours to the final product.
