Racines is the exciting new project of talented young Santa Barbara winemaker, Justin Willet, Étienne de Montille of Domaine de Montille in Burgundy and Rodolphe Péters of Pierre Péters in Champagne. La Rinconada Vineyard neighbours the hallowed Sanford & Benedict Vineyard and this debut release is stylish, wonderfully perfumed and powerful. Whilst imbued with a fine core of red fruits, the magic of this wine is in its lifted lavender, woody herb and bergamot fragrance. Juicy and vibrant with filigree tannins, it dances across the palate and concludes with a long, subtly herb-infused finish.
