The beautiful wines of Pyramid Valley are born in the dramatic soils and slops of the Waikari Estate in North Canterbury. A journey initially started by Mike and Claudia Weersing, the winery has been under the direction of Steve Smith and Brian Sheth since 2017. A specialist in Burgundian-styled Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the approach has always minimal intervention and according to the holistic principles of biodynamics. This is a lovely entry level expression of Pinot Noir, imbued with the classic North Canterbury characteristics of vibrant fruit, tension, structure and savoury length.
