Jean-Louis Chavy Puligny-Montrachet 2022 is a medium-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Puligny-Montrachet appellation of the Côte de Beaune. The Chavy family`s roots in Puligny-Montrachet span nearly two centuries, establishing a strong legacy in the region. Following the passing of their father Gerard, Alain and Jean-Louis divided their inheritance, embarking on their individual winemaking journeys. Jean-Louis, known for his refined approach, employs the techniques of judicious oak usage and the utilization of old vines, allowing the inherent grape flavours to take centre stage. This is classic Puligny-Montrachet with limpid white peach and citrus fruit, hints of hazelnuts and baked bread, and a distinctive minerality that harmonises impeccably with shellfish dishes.
