Situated in the village of Pommard, Domaine de Courcel is an 11-hectare estate that remains under the ownership and management of its original founding family. The property boasts holdings in four Premier Cru vineyards, Les Rugiens, Les Frémiers, Les Croix Noires, and Le Grand Clos des Épenots, the source of this particular release. This vineyard, positioned on an east-facing slope, features a blend of clay and limestone soils and hosts vines with an average age of around 60 years.
