Tony Bornard, the son of the renowned Philippe Bornard, embarked on his independent winemaking journey in 2013. Eventually, in 2017, he merged his own estate with his father`s, expanding his total vineyard holdings to an impressive 11.5 hectares. Located in the charming town of Pupillin, nestled within the Jura region, his vineyards benefit from the region`s unique terroir. This particular release is made from Ploussard – also known as Poulsard – a red grape variety native to the Jura region. Expect a light-bodied and refreshing wine, boasting notes of wild strawberries, with subtle floral and herbal notes.
