This limited-edition rum was distilled in 2009 at Trinidad Distillers Limited, where it was also first matured for 11 years, in 200-liter ex-bourbon casks. The liquid was then treated to an additional maturation period of 12 months in 400-liter French oak barrels from Maison Ferrand. The result is a deep and well-structured rum, with hints of pastries, nuts and light petrol notes.
