Plan B Frespanol Shiraz 2020 is a full-bodied Shiraz blend produced by the winemaker Bill Crappsley at the Plan B winery in Margaret River, Western Australia. For this wine, individual batches of Shiraz were aged in oak barrels (10% new) for 15 months before blending. Around 6% of Tempranillo completes the blend. Rich and powerful with sweet, spiced blackberry and cassis, with hints of dried violets and wood toast. Soft, fruit-forward and very drinkable, with bright acidity and ripe, savoury tannins.
