‘Ancestrale’ is a blend using a selection of eaux-de-vie distilled long ago by ancestors of Pierre. The nose reveals nectarines, oranges, crushed walnuts, plus herbal and vegetal rancio elements. At first, dark chocolate begins to appear of the palate, bringing a balancing bitterness to the fruit. This release is limited to only 300 bottles a year.
