Owned by the négociant business Mähler-Besse, Château Picard is an under-the-radar property spanning 8ha of vineyards in the heart of St Estèphe. Picard`s vineyards are planted with 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot, with the average vine age being >30 years. "Offers blackberry and liquorice, with hints of Indian spices. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a fresh herb and delicate spice aftertaste. Delicate and balanced." Wine Spectator, 2008
