First made in 1959, Bin 28 is named after the Barossa Valley Kalimna Vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945 and from which the wine was originally sourced. Today, Bin 28 is a multi-regional, multi-vineyard blend that showcases the very best of warm climate Australian Shiraz.

The 2018 vintage was hallmarked by warm and dry weather, with conditions favourable for achieving fully ripe and flavoursome grapes. This is awash with rich plummy and raspberry fruit, punctuated with notes of sweet spices, dark chocolate and grilled hazelnuts. Drink 2022-2038.
