Palmer Half 2020

Château Palmer is a Third Growth wine estate located in the Margaux appellation on the Left Bank of the Gironde estuary. The estate has been fully certified for organic viticulture since the 2017 vintage, and the vineyards are also biodynamically managed. This release is the 2020 vintage of their Grand Vin, a blend of 48% Merlot, 48% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. The nose evokes blackcurrants, blueberries, truffle, hints of graphite and cedar. On the palate, it is a full-bodied wine, marked by a strong tannin backbone and incredible length. Best enjoyed after 2028.
