Palmaz Vineyards is situated on Mount George, Napa Valley, and it is recognized for its gravity-flow winery, which uses a multistorey design for winemaking. This design allows for a gentle and natural flow of grapes and wine throughout the winemaking process. Palmaz Vineyards is particularly noted for its Cabernet Sauvignon wines. This particular release from the 2005 vintage has 3% of Cabernet Franc and was aged in 70% new French oak barrels for 22 months.
