A discontinued 21 year old vatted malt from Nikka. Produced using whiskies from both Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries, this excellent bottling has been winning awards left, right and centre ever since it was released.
Dried fruit and oak jump out on the nose along with freshly ground coffee and a hint of bitter dark chocolate. The palate is Sherry-led with dried fruit, nuts and caramel along with a good dose of Christmas cake spice that leads into a mellow, smooth finish.
